Saiunkoku monogatari is an anime that is 39 episodes long, it is about a emperor who does not do his duties so the three advisors set up a wife for him to help him and tutor him. When she gets to the palace after a little while she goes to the library to borrow some books so she can study their she meets two guys one of which who hates women only knows that she is the emperors wife and doesnt know that she is the daughter of the person he looks up to. The other person Ran(i believe).
When she does come face to face with the emperor he does not introduce himself as the emperor but as Ran.
